An adaption of the 2003 film Identity, The Last One was a theatrical experience that invited audiences in the midst of a stormy night, a group of strangers, each carrying their own hidden burdens and personal battles, found themselves trapped in a desolate motel. As the night unfolds, a series of violent and disturbing incidents led to suspicion and fear. The Last One delivered suspenseful exploration of the human psyche, filled with tension, mystery, and unexpected twists that had audiences gripping to the edge of their ‘motel’ seat.
The show kept you captivated, and guessing, from beginning to end. The acting/directing was top-notch. Undoubtedly, it was one of the best performances I’ve seen in Madrid. Great set, sound, lighting, and CREW. Scene changes and transitions were seamless, which could NOT have been easy in the dark!
The performances were great! And the combination with excellent light and sound effects made The Last One a very special theatre experience. Well done!
Yesterday night I went to one of the best plays I have ever seen! The Last One is a mysterious thriller filled with tensions, twists and turns and brilliantly placed bits of humour. The sublime cast and special effects help create a hair-raising atmosphere from the moment one dares visit the hotel.
